PRIVACY POLICY OF THE "NəOldu" (neoldu.me) PLATFORM

1. General Provisions
1.1. This Privacy Policy establishes the legal framework regarding the collection, processing, storage, protection, and use of personal data of the Users of the "NəOldu" platform (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform").
1.2. The Platform strictly processes personal data in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Personal Data" and applicable international standards, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU 2016/679).
1.3. The Platform acts solely as an informational and technical intermediary between the User and independent Psychologists, does not provide medical or psychological services, and bears no responsibility for the content, quality, and results of the consultation services.
1.4. By registering on the Platform, the User gives explicit and voluntary consent to the collection, processing, and storage of their personal data in accordance with the terms of this Policy.

2. Collected Data To ensure the proper provision of services, the Platform collects the following categories of data:

  • Personal (Registration) data: Name, surname, date of birth, contact number, e-mail address.
  • Financial data: History of transactions on the Platform. Attention: The Platform does not collect or store full bank card details. Payment processing is carried out through secure channels directly by certified payment systems (acquirers).
  • Technical data: IP address, Cookies files, information about the user's device (device and browser type), date and time of access to the Platform.

3. Use and Transfer of Data
3.1. The Platform strictly does not sell Users' personal data to third parties and does not share it for advertising purposes.
3.2. To fulfill obligations to the User, the Platform transfers the minimum necessary data to the following parties:

3.2.1 To the Psychologist: For the preparation and quality conduct of the consultation, the following is transferred to the selected Psychologist:

  1. Name or Pseudonym (based on the User's choice);
    1. User's age;
    2. Date and time of the scheduled session;
    3. Initial questionnaire voluntarily filled out by the User during registration (description of the request).

Note: Psychologists are independent contractors of the Platform. The Platform acts solely as a data transmission channel. The Psychologist providing the service bears full personal and legal responsibility for the protection of questionnaire data, non-disclosure of request details, and preservation of professional secrecy.

3.2.2 To payment systems: For the secure initiation and processing of payments.

3.2.3 To government authorities: Only in cases explicitly provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, based on a justified official request.

4. Confidentiality of Sessions
4.1. The Platform does not conduct video or audio recordings of psychological consultations. The Platform has no access to the content of conversations between the User and the Psychologist.
4.2. The content of the session is a strict professional secret. The Psychologist providing the service bears direct full legal responsibility for the non-disclosure of session details.
4.3. Exception: If a real and imminent threat to the life and health of the User or third parties is detected during the session, the Psychologist has the right and obligation to act in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the professional code of ethics (including contacting emergency services or law enforcement agencies).

5. Data Protection
5.1. The Platform implements modern organizational and technical measures (including SSL encryption and strict control over Platform employees' access to databases) to protect data from unauthorized access, destruction, alteration, or blocking.
5.2. The Platform also ensures the encryption and secure storage of data in accordance with third-party security standards.

6. User's Rights and Data Retention
6.1. The User has the right at any time to obtain information about their data, demand its correction, or its complete deletion (withdrawal of consent to processing). For this, a request must be sent to the Platform's support service.
6.2. When a User's account is deleted, their registration data is deleted. In accordance with the requirements of the Tax Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan and legislation on accounting, information on completed financial transactions is stored in the Platform's secure archive for a period of 5 (five) years without the right to be used for marketing purposes.

7. Cookies and Technical Tools
7.1. The Platform may use cookies and analytical tools to ensure functionality.
7.2. The User can manage cookies through the browser and choose whether to allow them to be saved.
7.3. Disabling cookies may cause some Platform features to not function properly.

8. Changes and Notification
8.1. The Platform has the right to change this Policy at any time without prior notice.
8.2. Changes take effect from the moment they are published on the neoldu.me website. Continuing to use the Platform confirms the User's agreement with the updated terms.

9. Other Provisions
9.1. This document is drafted in the Azerbaijani language. Translations of the document into other languages (including Russian and English) are for informational purposes only. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the texts of the document in different languages, the text in the Azerbaijani language has superior legal force.
